We entertain only one traveling party at a time. We encourage you to book as far in advance as possible. a. Email, fax, or call us with your exact arrival and departure dates and the number of people in your traveling party (1 to 4 people). When you make your reservation, please indicate whether you prefer the second bedroom set with b. We will send you a confirmation Email, fax, or letter with a few questions about addresses, food preferences, etc. c. When we have your specific arrival details, we will send travel directions to the Inn, which is on a very small street known to very few people, even most NY taxi drivers. Note: on the Internet, "Mapquest" and "Google Maps" are not reliable.
BOOKING PROCESS

When you have decided to stay at The Strange Dog Inn:

* If you cancel a reservation less than 2 weeks (14 days) prior to your agreed arrival date we ask that you forward to us, as a courtesy, one night's total fee.

"TENTATIVE RESERVATION" POLICY
If you know approximately when you might want to stay, you may tentatively reserve those dates at no charge. If another party then requests those dates before you have made a final commitment with us, we will contact you to give you "first refusal" for the dates.
RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS
Depending on the length of your stay, a nonrefundable deposit may be required to secure your reservation. Full payment is expected on arrival by US$ bank check, US$ travelers check, or (in person) by US$ cash. We do not accept credit cards, personal checks, or foreign currency.
TRAVEL NOTES
Of the major New York area airports, we are most convenient to JFK (Overseas International) or LaGuardia (US and Canada). Newark Airport is more remote, but still accessible.
